The joy of having a growing, trendy 12 year old is, that I am able to swop shoes with him (I paid for it anyway 😉) and pretend they are mine. But this morning while praying for the young generation to be raised as leaders, God spoke to me. God's heart is meeting us where we are and he puts himself into ours and the young peoples shoes. If we want to raise young leaders and see a generation passionate for Jesus we need to wear their shoes and to be ready to smell like them. I

Nearly 5 years ago, I did work in the High School in Ocean View with two groups of struggling boys. God spoke to me during one of the sessions and showed me a vision for two of the boys. This encouraged me to invest over all these years into their lives and through many ups and downs. The vision kept me focussed and even in the really difficult times (we had many, many of them) I never lost hope for them. Today they are part of our local internship programm and I am greatful
