Sometimes you celebrate spring and the smell of beautiful flowers and the next day you wake up and it looks like this.
What happened to me this week made me think. How often we experience some disappointment in our „blooming“ ministry or in leadership. Something what hits us overnight, then we are shocked and we experience shivering feelings. We grieve as we don’t want it (like in my case with this beautiful tree… some big branches broke from the weight of the snow and my brother was trying to save the tree with suppporting elements)…. and we feel it is not the time for it. But I can promise you: Spring comes always back. Accept the fact that disappointment belongs into leadership, ministry and mission - even into relationships. The snow will melt again and not everything will be destroyed.
