Today, while we were prayer walking in the community I came across this memorial of one of the young guys in the community. He died far to early through gang activity on a corner very close to our youth centre. When I see those memorials it reminds me how precious life is. Life can be short in Ocean View, especially if wrong choices were made. We face alot of gangsterism here and people are often stuck in hopeless situations. Once in a gang you can’t just leave them again. It is life long commitment. But we pray and we speak fresh life over this guys. This morning I prayed for one of those gang members (I know him since a long time) on the street. He is just a boy with a very vulnerable heart. Broken, hurt and lost. But God loves him so much. He never gives up on them. As long as he is still alive - there is HOPE!
