Today, I was standing in this beautiful garden and God spoke to my heart! "And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail". Isaiah 58,11
What an amazing God who is continually guiding us! There is no time without his leadership! Yes, he knows that sometimes our bones are weak, and our garden needs some fresh water. At the moment we experience a drought in South Africa. My garden completely died because I wasn’t allowed anymore to water my plants. It is not nice for a plant lover to see how your beloved flowers are stopping to bloom, shrink and finally disappear in the ground and become dust. But without water, there is no healthy garden!
I think in leadership it is very similar. If we lead out of our own strength we stop blooming, become selfish or suspicious and our bones become weak. We loose perspective and act out of fear or control. We need the presence of God everyday! We need fresh water, the source of life everyday. God is a God who is reminding us to be close to him! He is offering us his guidance, but it is up to us to accept his leadership!
